The 8th Euro-Argo Scientific Meeting will be held from 23 to 25 September 2025 at the HCMR premises in Crete, Greece, as part of the Euro-Argo ONE project. It will be possible to follow the oral presentations online, but it will not be possible to interact with other participants or take part in the poster sessions.
This event is organised as part of the Euro-Argo ONE project. This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 101188133.
About Euro-Argo
In the context of the international operational oceanography programme Argo, 12 European countries came together in 2008 to form the Euro-Argo project with the common goal of making an optimised and sustainable European contribution to Argo by deploying 250 floats per year. After a successful three-year preparatory phase, Euro-Argo was established in 2014 and is now in a position to meet this challenge while also addressing Europe’s specific interests in marginal seas, high latitudes, biogeochemical measurements and depths greater than 2,000 metres.
