Here’s a look back at this unusual discovery of an ocean of herpes that is harmless to humans, and a video explanation by the CEA.
This incredible discovery is the result of 5 years of research work carried out at the Genoscope on data collected during the Tara Oceans expedition (2009-2013), implemented by a collaboration between the Tara Océan Foundation, and teams mainly from the CNRS, EMBL and CEA brought together within the Tara Océans consortium.
