Roland Jourdain and Sophie Vercelletto, partners in the Kaïros entrepreneurial adventure – an ocean racing team founded in 2007 – decided in 2009 to create a design office specialising in biosourced composite materials in order to become players in the environmental transition as company directors.
Frequently approached by explorers looking for advice and logistical resources, they decided in 2013 to create the Explore fund. Their objective: to support all those who, like them, are seeking to develop real solutions to commit our society to a new model where man and nature have their rightful place.
This passion for exploration, the ocean and living things is now leading them to create We Explore, a boat made of biomaterials to inspire other enthusiasts to do things differently.
