Mercator Ocean, implementer of the EU Copernicus Marine Service is organising the 2nd edition of its #OceanHack4EU hackathon, that will be held from 3rd to 7th June 2024.
Mercator Ocean is the implementer of the Copernicus Marine Service, the marine component of the Copernicus Programme of the European Union. Copernicus is the European Union’s Earth Observation flagship Programme, looking at our planet and its environment for the ultimate benefit of all European citizens. This 5-day event will be fully online and is aimed at finding data-driven solutions to the challenges the ocean faces.
Teams will focus on one or several of the following 5 key topics:
- Healthy ocean
- Living ocean
- Safe ocean
- Powerful ocean
- Inspirational ocean
