The National Oceanography Centre is looking for a research scientist in physical oceanography.

Position description

The ocean circulation and Processes team is looking to expand by recruiting an experienced and motivated researcher.

This focus of this role is specifically on the analysis of Atlantic Ocean hydrographic GO-SHIP data. The analysis will incorporate the use of established methods and the development of novel techniques to analyse property and circulation changes. The ultimate goal is to establish a better understanding of the decadal variability of heat, salt, dissolved oxygen, nutrient and carbon in the ocean.

Profile and skills

We are looking for a motivated and experienced physical oceanographer.

Through your record of publications and funding success you will be able to demonstrate your independent thought, invention, and ability to innovate.
